Ash Pajoohi is a tenured real estate professional with over fifteen years of experience in portfolio strategy and asset management, operations, transactions, and market research. As Co-Managing Partner at WorkIQ LLC, Ash provides end-to-end solutions for clients from strategy development to project execution and fund disbursement.

Prior to founding Workiq llc, Ash held leadership roles at Newmark, Cresa, CBRE, and AIG where he worked closely with clients to improve portfolio efficiencies, offload underutilized assets, strengthen investment returns, and build greater resiliency into portfolios. Ash successfully saved clients north of $600M in annual spend and underwrote over $5B in deals.

 Ash is also a professor at NYU’s Schack Institute of Real estate where he teaches both undergraduate and graduate classes in Finance, Urban Economics, Corporate Finance, Risk and Portfolio Management along with numerous modules on sustainability and alternative real estate investment.  As an industry thought leader, Ash is a regular author and contributor to real estate articles and research topics including new ways to leverage data, portfolio rebalancing, and using talent to drive real estate strategy.

Ash sits on the board of Grace Smith House and Ski Butternut. When not entrenched in a financial model or teaching the next generation of real estate leaders, Ash can be found outside with his family birding and promoting the importance of conservation and native flora and fauna in the Hudson Valley of NY.
